Description:

Zetaplus by Zhermack is a high-quality very high viscosity C-silicone Putty condensation silicone elastomeric impression material designed for final impressions in the fabrication of extraoral prosthesis. Known for its consistent performance over the past 25 years, Zetaplus ensures precise results with its high initial flowability during the working phase and excellent rigidity once set. It is hydro-compatible, making it ideal for use in moist environments, and is available in a distinctive green color with a spearmint flavor for enhanced patient comfort. The material can be used in both two-stage and single-stage techniques, offering an optimal balance between working and setting times, which helps reduce contraction. Its advanced formulation, featuring high-activity spheroid filler (SAS), improves flowability, tear resistance, and dimensional stability. Additionally, Zetaplus simplifies the impression process by using the same catalyst (Indurent Gel) for both putty and wash materials, ensuring consistency and ease of use.

Key Features:

>Enhanced Patient Comfort

Zetaplus reduces mucous compression during the insertion phase in the oral cavity, ensuring greater comfort for the patient throughout the impression process.

>Superior Hardness After Setting

Once Zetaplus has set, it achieves excellent hardness, providing a rigid and stable impression that ensures accuracy and precision in prosthetic fabrication.

>Effective as a Special Tray in Two-Stage Technique

In the two-stage technique, Zetaplus performs effectively as a special tray, helping capture highly detailed and accurate impressions for the final prosthesis.

>Versatile Consistency with Double Mixing

When using the double mixing technique, Zetaplus adapts to the consistency of low-viscosity fluids, offering optimal flowability and ensuring detailed impressions of the dental structures.

>Customizable Working and Setting Times

The working and setting times of Zetaplus can be adjusted according to the quantity of catalyst (Indurent Gel), allowing flexibility in the impression process to suit specific clinical needs.

>Hygienic and Safe Disinfection

Zetaplus is compatible with Zeta 7 Solution and Zeta 7 Spray, ensuring safe and effective disinfection of the impression material for a hygienic workflow.

Directions For Use:

1. Preparation:

  • Clean and Dry Impression Tray: Ensure that the impression tray is thoroughly clean and dry before use.
  • Dispense Putty Base: Dispense the required amount of Zetaplus Putty Base onto a clean, dry mixing surface, following the manufacturer's recommendations for the appropriate amount.

2. Mixing:

  • Add Catalyst: Add the recommended quantity of Indurent Gel Catalyst to the putty base. The ratio of putty base to catalyst should follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Mix Thoroughly: Mix the putty and catalyst together until a homogeneous color is achieved, ensuring no streaks remain in the mixture. It is important to mix thoroughly for an even consistency.

3. Application:

  • Load the Impression Tray: Once mixed, evenly load the putty onto the impression tray.
  • Insert Tray: Immediately insert the loaded impression tray into the patient's mouth, ensuring proper seating for accurate coverage and fit. Make sure the tray is positioned correctly to capture all the necessary details.

4. Setting Time:

  • Allow Setting: Let the material set in the patient’s mouth. The working and setting times can be adjusted by varying the amount of catalyst used. Refer to the product guidelines for optimal settings for your needs.

5. Removal:

  • Remove the Tray: Once the material has set, gently and carefully remove the tray from the patient’s mouth. Avoid applying excessive force to prevent distortion of the impression.

6. Post-Procedure:

  • Rinse and Disinfect: After removing the impression, rinse it thoroughly to remove any residual material. Disinfect the impression following clinic protocols before sending it to the laboratory for further processing.
