Meta Biomed Metapex Plus Calcium Hydroxide Paste - Double Syringe

Calcium hydroxide and iodoform are the two main components of the root canal filling material known as Metapex Plus. This premixed, antibacterial paste is used as a temporary root canal filling material that has great radiopacity.

Due to the combination of calcium hydroxide and iodoform and the induction effect of these two substances, Metapex calcium hydroxide with Iodoform is a biocompatible root canal sealer that may be used either temporarily or permanently. It can be used to encourage the healing process. Because these two substances boost the induction effect for hard tissue induction and deposition, they are used to promote healing effects and to assist avoid bacterial contamination of the canal. This is accomplished by the use of the product.

• Exposed pulp in pulp capping and pulpotomy

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Clean and dry the canal after endodontic treatment.
  
• Set up a disposable tip in syringe and insert the ring provided for an easy re-direction of the tip
  
• Disinfect the disposable tip with ethanol
  
• Fill the canal completely by pushing the syringe plunger while withdrawing the tip slowly
  
• Clean any excess paste with a sterilized cotton pellet
  
• Remove the used tip, fix a new one and cover up
