Product Name | Brulon Epitome Fusionmax Flowable Composite Resin |
Indications | Ideal for restorative dental procedures, including cavity linings, small Class I and Class III restorations, and minimally invasive cavity preparations. |
Composition | Bis-GMA, UDMA, TEGDMA, proprietary low-viscosity monomers, and a high filler content of nano-sized silica particles (70% by weight, 52% by volume). |
Filler Particle Size | Nanoparticles with a mean size of 0.4 microns, designed to provide optimal polishability and high wear resistance. |
Viscosity | Flowable viscosity ensures easy placement and adaptation to cavity walls, reducing the risk of voids and microleakage. |
Shades Available | A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C2, Universal Opaque, and Enamel Translucent, enabling precise shade matching and superior esthetic results. |
Radiopacity | 230% of Al (aluminum), ensuring clear differentiation from tooth structures in radiographic images. |
Flexural Strength | 140 MPa, providing excellent resistance to occlusal stresses and reducing the risk of fracture or chipping. |
Compressive Strength | 320 MPa, ensuring robust performance under masticatory forces. |
Modulus of Elasticity | 7 GPa, offering a balance between rigidity and flexibility to mimic natural tooth structure. |
Polymerization Shrinkage | <2.0%, minimizing the risk of post-operative sensitivity and secondary caries. |
Light Curing | Compatible with standard LED and halogen light-curing units; recommended curing time: 20 seconds per layer (at 800 mW/cm²). |
Depth of Cure | 2.5 mm per curing cycle, allowing for efficient layering techniques and reduced chair time. |
Working Time | Ample working time under ambient light conditions, facilitating precise application and contouring. |
Handling Characteristics | Thixotropic behavior providing optimal flowability under pressure, yet maintaining shape when static; non-sticky texture for easy manipulation. |
Bonding Compatibility | Compatible with all etch-and-rinse and self-etch adhesive systems, ensuring strong adhesion to dentin and enamel. |
Fluoride Release | Provides continuous fluoride release, contributing to the prevention of recurrent caries. |
Biocompatibility | Non-toxic, non-irritant; conforms to ISO 10993 standards for biocompatibility, ensuring patient safety and comfort. |
Shelf Life | 2 years from date of manufacture when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. |
Packaging | Available in 2g syringes with ergonomic design for precision delivery and ease of use. |
Sterilization | Sterilization of application instruments recommended according to standard dental practice protocols. |
Regulatory Compliance | CE marked, FDA approved, and compliant with ISO 4049 standards for dental composite resins. |
