This mist is then inhaled through various accessories such as a face mask or mouthpiece, facilitated by oxygen or compressed air. Nebulizers play a crucial role in managing respiratory issues by delivering medication and moisture, thereby alleviating symptoms like wheezing, and aiding in the loosening of lung secretions. They are sometimes preferred over other inhalers.
